Timothy Calvin Theodore Farnes, 69, of New Braunfels, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in New Braunfels. Born on April 9, 1943 in Fort Worth, he was the son of the late George T. Farnes and Martha E. Myers Farnes.

Timothy worked as a Security Guard for the last 12 years. He served in the Air Force for 16 years and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. His most significant tour of duty was serving in The Vietnam War. Timothy's hobbies were reading, listening to Frank Sinatra, and watching sports-specifically The Spurs. Timothy showed true patriotism by loving America and it's history.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Grace Asadon Farnes; his children: Ana Lee Farnes, Dale Farnes, Brian Farnes, Michael Farnes and his wife Becky, Walter Farnes, Rose Bueno and her husband Vince, and Martha Page. His grandchildren: Brandon Lee Farnes, Kendra Lee Farnes, Felisha Farnes, Sterling Bueno, Thierry Bueno, Kavani Bueno, Cody Page, Kayla Page, Clay Page, and Kole Page. His Sister-in-Law, Nemesia Asadon. Niece, Holly Guerrero and her husband Nick along with their children Anthony and Nadia. His siblings: Peggy Lipps, Catherine Lightle, and Stanley Farnes along with their 5 children and 9 grandchildren collectively.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Chapel with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
